Lots of Tottenham fans are sensing Tanguy Ndombele’s future under Jose Mourinho could be in trouble, as the France international failed to really grasp his opportunity vs Norwich.
Mourinho opted to play an extremely attack-minded midfield at Carrow Road on Saturday evening, starting all of the club’s summer signings.
Ryan Sessegnon started on the left flank while Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso got the nod in the middle alongside Christian Eriksen, but none of them really impressed.
Ndombele, who has struggled with injuries since becoming the club’s record signing under Mauricio Pochettino, lost possession 17 times against Norwich, per Sofascore.
The 23 year-old certainly improved in the second half of the match, but he did attempt a rabona cross when the Lilywhites were chasing the game, something that plenty of fans feel Mourinho will have been fuming at.
