Like last summer, Tottenham failed to bring in a single player during the previous transfer window.
Yet to Mauricio Pochettino’s credit, he has managed to keep the north London club in a competitive state at the top of the Premier League table as they do battle with Manchester City and Liverpool for the title.
Going forward, though, the Argentinian will undoubtedly need at least a couple of signings if Tottenham are to remain at this high level they have reached, especially after the departure of Mousa Dembele.
And one of those possible additions could be AC Milan’s Franck Kessie with Tuttomercatoweb (via Sport Witness) reporting that the English outfit have made contact over bringing in the 22-year-old Ivorian.
A powerful box-to-box midfielder who can sometimes look unstoppable once getting into his stride, Kessie may just be the man to replace Dembele in Tottenham’s engine room should a deal be struck with the Serie A giants.
Have a look at what supporters are saying about the club’s reported interest in the Ivory Coast international below…

Talk of signing players when signing window just closed. Lunacy or taking supporters for fools. This misinformation must stop. Just sign a players quietly with no drama or Spurs soap opera.
