Mauricio Pochettino is the man who Tottenham fans have to thank for reforming Moussa Sissoko. The Frenchman is a star turned in the Tottenham side and against Inter Milan on Wednesday he shone as the Lilywhites kept their Champions League campaign alive.

Moussa Sissoko had it extremely tough at Tottenham in his first two full seasons and the supporters would have loved to have binned him off over the summer. However, the lack of signings and the injury issues the club has had has meant that Sissoko has got his opportunity and he’s taken it with both hands this season, putting in some consistent displays and showing the Spurs fans what they’ve been missing.
Now, all Sissoko needs to do is pop up with a famous winner in this weekend’s North London derby and he’ll have completed his career U-turn, although no Spurs fans are expecting that of him. No, instead the fans will just be happy with another dominant midfield display as they continue trying to catch up with Liverpool and Manchester City at the top of the Premier League.

Always thought his best position was CM but never thought he'd hit the heights that he has over the last few games. I did give him a lot of stick as he wasn't the type of winger I felt we needed when we bought him. Tbh he's even got more end product than Dembele whilst playing CM
