This month promises to be a tough one for Tottenham fans. Seven games await them in the 30 days of April and they’ll have to take respite from the fact that five of those will be at their new home. However, with three clashes against Manchester City, the panic is certainly there as a top-four spot and Champions League semi-final hang in the balance.

Tomorrow evening will be a massive occasion as the curtains officially open at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium when Crystal Palace come to town. The Lilywhites have completed two test events at the shiny new ground and are now set to play Premier League football there. A win couldn’t be more needed either ahead of the clash, as Mauricio Pochettino’s side have picked up one point from their last possible 15 in the league.
After that Palace game, though, things get monumentally tougher. An eleven-day spell sees a trio of clashes against Manchester City with a home tie against Huddersfield in between. Two of those three City ties come in the Champions League quarter-finals, and with the Citizens the clear favourites for that one a lot of Spurs fans are already writing it off and looking at their league games as they hope to ensure a top-four finish to keep themselves in the Champions League for next season.

The Lilywhites will be getting more and more nervous by the day as their clashes against City draw closer, but hopefully wins over Palace and Huddersfield can give them the momentum they need to overcome the reigning Premier League champions at least once.
