Tottenham fans can be forgiven for getting a little bit touchy over their stadium. The new ground was supposed to be in action by now, however, it just hasn’t happened and they now face a wait until at least February. However, ex-Premier league manager Sam Allardyce has come out and claimed that if he was Mauricio Pochettino he’d want to stay at Wembley and move next season.
Sam Allardyce believes it would now be a “bad move” if Tottenham Hotspur played at the #NewSpursStadium this season:
“Mauricio Pochettino should tell Daniel Levy that he wants to stay at Wembley for the season.”

After seeing the failed England gaffer’s comments on the new ground, a lot of fans have been slating Allardyce. They hate the idea of staying at the national stadium any longer than they have to and with their new stadium supposedly being ready for February, they’ll be putting dates in their calendars and counting down the days until they can finally make the move back to North London.
The last game that the Lilywhites played in their actual home was a 2-1 win over Manchester United in the White lane Lane farewell game back at the end of the 2016/17 season. Fittingly, the club went unbeaten at home in the Premier League that season, and they’ll be hoping to continue that unbeaten run when they return to heir actual home in the new year.

Mate trust me we are losing millions playing at Wembley & it is 100% affecting our transfer budget. The stadium has cost more, and we lost money v Saints and will do again V Burnley. I agree we should wait until next year but I bet we play at the new stadium this season.
