To most football fans it looked like Danny Rose’s career as a Tottenham player was over last summer. The Englishman’s career had been derailed by injuries and it didn’t help when he conducted an interview slating the way things are done at the club. However, this season has seen him return to his very best, and the thought of not having him fit tomorrow is one the Spurs fans hate.
Danny Rose has already shown that whilst he may have lost a yard of pace owing to his knee injury, he still has everything needed in a modern full-back. The Lilywhites much prefer having Rose starting to Ben Davies, however, with both of them injured the importance of having Rose recover from he shin wound he suffered against Leicester is even greater, and he could be key in stopping Dortmund tomorrow.

The prospect of facing Dortmund is already a daunting one, but to have to do it with no fit senior left-back would be something no Spurs fan wants.
