Loads of Tottenham fans have been reacting to a comment from Lucas Moura during a club-sponsored video, as the Brazil international admitted he cried when he found out he had been dropped for the Champions League final.
For many Spurs fans, the ‘what if’ feeling from last season’s Champions League final will never subside.
What if the referee had not awarded a penalty in the first minute? What if Alisson Becker hadn’t had the game of his life? Perhaps above all else, what if Mauricio Pochettino had started Lucas?
Of course, the 27 year-old scored a second-half hat-trick in the second leg of the semi-final against Ajax, producing perhaps the most memorable individual display in Champions League history.
Pochettino then opted to start Kane over the winger in the final despite the England star’s injury issues, and it was clear Kane wasn’t fully recovered from his ankle injury.
Check out some of the best Twitter reactions down below, after Lucas revealed his devastation as reported by Last Word on Spurs…
The one thing i really disliked Poch for was that decision. Completely inexcusable. Happy Moura has find some form and is getting in to the side frequently under Jose

Probably Poch’s greatest error while at Spurs.

Pochettino bottled it I’m afraid, Kane was not fit and should not have started
