Tottenham supporters have been somewhat downbeat in recent times after seeing their team suffer defeat in their final match prior to the international break.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men made a fast start to the new Premier League season in winning their opening three league games, including an impressive 3-0 success away at Manchester United. However, they were unable to make it four on the spin last time out despite taking the lead against Watford through an Abdoulaye Doucoure own goal, with headers from Troy Deeney and Craig Cathcart securing a 2-1 win for Javi Gracia’s side at Vicarage Road.
Subsequently, there have been many frustrated Spurs fans up and down the country in recent times, and their mood is unlikely to be improved by the recent news that they will be without goalkeeper Hugo Lloris against Liverpool this weekend.

The Frenchman missed the defeat at Watford due to injury, and manager Pochettino confirmed in his pre-Liverpool press conference on Thursday that the 31-year-old will not be available for selection against Jurgen Klopp’s side on Saturday.
As such, it looks as though Michel Vorm, who deputised for Lloris against the Hornets last time out, will get the nod between the sticks against the Reds, much to the dismay of Spurs fans on Twitter, what with many really hoping that Pochettino opts for Paulo Gazzaniga as opposed to the Dutchman…
Gazzaniga has to start! Vorms refused to come for the ball from any cross ever!

I’d give Gazzaniga a start. Look promising and I’m sure he got MOTM last time he played

Presumably Gazzaniga will get a chance in goal after Vorm kicked a goal kick out for a corner?! embarrassing doesn’t even cover it! https://t.co/AOUXy6dEl0
