Tottenham fans take to Twitter to defend poor form

This season has been a tough one for Tottenham fans. The Lilywhites have had some jubilant highs and then some rock-bottom lows, and the last few weeks in the Premier League have certainly been low. In their last four Premier League games, they’ve lost three and drawn one, falling out of the title race and into a battle for top four.

Now, they face a fight to qualify for next season’s @ChampionsLeague!

The question that Sky Sports have put out on Twitter is ‘what’s going on at Tottenham?’ and the Lilywhites have themselves have been on-hand to try and answer that. It is really easy to get drawn into the negatives, yet you cannot ignore all the good going on in North London. Mauricio Pochettino is working magic on a budget and has shown that you don’t need signings to be a success, even if the fans are desperate.

This summer will certainly be make or break, and what happens when the window opens could depend on the way the last eight games go. Poch has worked wonders, but the fact that his side have had horrendous injury woes, the shortest recovery time from the world cup and no signings set them up against it, and the fact that they’re still sitting pretty in 3rd regardless of all of that just shows what an incredible job the Argentine has done.
