As you can imagine, Tottenham fans are getting more and more excited about the opening of their brand new stadium. The second test event at the new ground, an entertaining clash between Tottenham Legends and Inter Forever, is one that a lot of fans are excited for, even though they’re all desperately waiting for Ledley King to be announced.

Tottenham’s famous #26 is a true legend amongst Tottenham fans. Despite having to cut his career short because of an ongoing problem with his knee, the central defender was a true hero at White Hart Lane, and the fans will want nothing more than to see the 38-year-old amongst the squad that Gary Mabbutt will be leading out on the 30th March at the newly opened Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The fact that King is yet to be announced is really grinding the fan’s gears. The likes of Teemu Tainio, Paul Stalteri and Pascal Chimbonda have all been included, and to think that any of that unfancied trio carry more of a legendary status in North London than King is absurd, leading to plenty of fans desperately calling for King to be included in the squad for the game in ten day’s time.

It really is no secret that the fans want Ledley King involved in this game, and considering the defender featured over 300 times for the club, it’s easy to see why they want him playing.
