The Christian Eriksen transfer saga seems like it’ll never end! The Dane told Ekstra Bladet (via Sky Sports) he wanted to leave Tottenham in the summer, and since then he’s looked off the ball in a Spurs shirt. Fans are growing tired of the constant uncertainty surrounding his future, and it seems like a large number of them now just want him out of their club.
Aside from his performance against Arsenal at the start of the month, the 27-year-old has let games pass him by. He’s had an average rating of 6.5/10 in his three games since then (as per WhoScored), and that’s not the form of a player who has been touted to join Real Madrid.
The Mirror have reported the Spanish giants want to offer him a pre-contract agreement in January. When Spurs news aggregator Daily Hotspur posted the news on Twitter, it got a fairly negative reaction from supporters, as some can’t even believe Madrid still want him.
