Tottenham Hotspur scraped through to the Champions League round of 16 by the skin of their teeth on Tuesday night when they matched Inter Milan’s result by drawing 1-1 at the Camp Nou to finish runners-up in their group. The fans attention has now turned to the last 16 draw, and with a tough run of potential opponents, they’ve all been calling for a rematch against Juventus.

Tottenham have six potential opponents for the next stage of the competition. Of all the group winners the only two they can’t face are Barcelona, as they shared the group with them, and Manchester Cty seeing as they’re both English sides. That leaves Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Porto, Juventus, PSG and Borussia Dortmund left to pick from, and most of the Lilywhites want revenge over the Old Lady for their exit last season.
Beating Juventus over two legs is incredibly difficult. The Lilywhites managed to take away a massive result last time when they faced the Serie A side in their first leg, drawing 2-2 in Turin. However, it only meant that their Wembley heartbreak was felt even more painfully when a quickfire double from the Italian’s downed Mauricio Pochettino’s side 2-1 in London, and now the supporters are desperate to avenge last season’s defeat.

On their day, Spurs can beat anyone, so to see the fans calling for a Juventus rematch is no surprise.
