Tottenham Hotspur have seen plenty of interest in a number of their key men in recent times, however, they have managed to keep them all at the club in recent times.
Mauricio Pochettino is one name that consistently appears when a new managerial vacancy comes up with one of Europe’s top clubs, and it does not seem that the rumours will quieten down.
Although Real Madrid are thought to have replaced Julen Lopetegui with Santiago Solari, it is considered to be just a temporary move.
Pochettino is contracted to remain with Spurs until 2023, however, Real Madrid continue to hold an interest in the Argentine.
The Verdict:
It is not really any surprise that Tottenham will have fears over a possible summer approach by Real Madrid over Pochettino.
The Spanish outfit’s decision to give Solari the job until the end of the season does not come as a shock, as a number of high-profile managers are unlikely to leave their current clubs midway through the campaign.
With the contract that Pochettino is currently tied down to, Spurs will feel confident that they can keep their man, despite the continual links from Real Madrid.
