Loads of Tottenham Hotspur fans have agreed with Alan Shearer’s verdict that Harry Kane has to leave if the club does not win anything in the next year, and that he may take it into his own hands if needed, (via COYS.com and talkSPORT).
Kane has not won a major trophy during his time with the north London club thus far and will definitely not this season having seen Spurs knocked out of all European and domestic cup competitions as well as being too far behind in the Premier League.
Shearer gives it 12 more months before the English international captain should consider his future and reckons he will leave if no silverware is won next season.
Kane would need to stay in the Premier League for a few more years at least if he wants to break Shearer’s record, with the 26-year old currently 124 goals behind, according to Transfermarkt.
Nevertheless, these Tottenham supporters agree with Shearer that Kane should leave next summer if he does not win any trophies with Spurs:
