Tottenham Hotspur have released footage on their official Twitter account of left-back Ben Davies back in first team training (@SpursOfficial).
The 48-time Wales international started in Jose Mourinho’s first game in charge of the club away at West Ham back in November but only lasted 75 minutes before being forced off with an ankle injury (Transfermarkt).
He has been absent ever since then, missING 12 Premier League games, four FA Cup matches and two Champions League outings (Transfermarkt). However, it now looks as though he is closing in on a return to action and, having been part of training, he may well be available for their trip to Aston Villa this weekend.
Having been part of Mourinho’s first starting XI, it would appear that the 26-year-old Welshman is a part of his manager’s plans and, with Danny Rose now on loan at Newcastle United (BBC Sport), it seems likely that he will be first choice left-back going forward.
