Spurs’ 2-1 defeat at Manchester United on Wednesday will have been disappointing for their fans considering they hoped Mourinho would hit the ground running more than he has. One fan rang up talkSPORT’s The Sports Bar and went one further, explaining that he wants the new manager to leave already.
He said he’d have taken Eddie Howe in a heartbeat over the Portuguese boss who has three Premier League titles and two Champions League winners’ medals under his belt. Mourinho’s side have conceded eight goals in four games since he took charge, but surely it’s too early to judge whether he should be leaving or not?

TalkSPORT posted a clip of the caller’s chat with Jason Cundy and Andy Goldstein, and fans couldn’t believe what they were hearing. Many replied to the tweet in utter dismay at the points he made, and some even suggested the call must’ve been a joke.
“I want Mourinho OUT my club!” 😡
“He’s not right for Tottenham.” ❌
