Tottenham Hotspur: Fans can’t wait for Erik Lamela to return to fitness

Plenty of Tottenham Hotspur fans cannot wait for Erik Lamela to return to full fitness.

The Argentinian hasn’t featured for Spurs since their 5- 0 victory against Red Star back in October due to a hamstring injury, meaning he has missed each of their last nine Premier League outings (Transfermarkt).

He had actually produced an excellent performance in his final appearance before injury, scoring once and providing a couple of assists against the Serbian outfit.

The club have confirmed that the ex-Roma man has commenced integration into first-team training (@SpursOfficial), which means that he is finally nearing a return to action.

Jose Mourinho has highlighted that Lamela is an important player for the club and insisted that he needs him (football.london).

It appears that several Spurs fans agree with Mourinho and therefore cannot wait for the winger to come back into the team, here is what some said about him after reading the latest update on his injury…
