Many Tottenham Hotspur fans are delighted with the update from the Premier League that all games will be suspended until at least April 4th for precautionary measures following a recent turn of events.
All English Football League and Scottish Premiership games have also been postponed, as well as Champions League games for next week. This follows outbreaks of sickness from the likes of Mikel Arteta and Callum Hudson-Odoi that have caused players and staff of respective clubs to go into isolation.
Whilst other fans will most likely be gutted that they cannot watch their team play for the next three weeks, many Spurs fans are delighted at the news. They have sighted that key players including Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son might have returned to full fitness by then and will therefore be available for the north London club’s recent games.
These Spurs fans could not hide their emotions on Twitter:

If the season does restart it would do so with a fully-fit Kane, Son, Bergwijn, Sissoko and Davies 😱😱😱

This will give Kane and Son time to recover…. might actually work out nicely for us if the season is finished off in June/July.

This is great news for Tottenham. Kane and Son could/should be back by the 3rd April as well as Sissoko. Some much-needed rest for our depleted squad as well – If the season doesn't continue, then it is what it is – But either way, a big result for us
