Jose Mourinho will have to adapt to Tottenham Hotspur’s transfer plans in the summer, according to Alasdair Gold via football.london.
The football correspondent shed light on how he thinks the Portuguese will have to work his way around Daniel Levy’s transfer policy before the start of next season.
As a consequence of the ongoing pandemic, football clubs across the planet are facing real economic uncertainty, and many are accepting the fact that the upcoming transfer window won’t be one for colossal signings.

It is fair to say that Mourinho has enjoyed splashing the cash over the years. Indeed, the former Manchester United boss broke a club record to bring Paul Pogba back to Old Trafford for a staggering fee worth £94.5m via Transfermarkt.
However, due to financial pressure, he will have to rein in his heavy spending, and “add to his squad by identifying areas that can be cheaply fixed” (football.london).
Understandably, many Spurs fans discussed Gold’s thoughts on social media, with one supporter begging Mourinho to “go manage somewhere else.”

While funds will be tight , if we are creative we can still do swap deals + invest little bits of cash into cheaper players , there’s no excuses not to get the players in the right positions to come in and we can certainly get quality if we target smartly.
