Tottenham Hotspur: Fans discuss Serge Aurier’s form under Jose Mourinho

Since Jose Mourinho replaced Mauricio Pochettino just weeks ago, there has been plenty of improvement at Tottenham Hotspur.

Whilst the Argentine had done a good job overall at Spurs, the magic was beginning to fade and they were sat 14th in the Premier League table at the time of his departure (Sky Sports).

Several high profile players were not performing to their usual standards and it was clear that something had to change.

Daniel Levy opted to let Pochettino go and brought in Mourinho and since he has come in things have turned around fast.

They have won four of their five Premier League matches under the Portuguese (Transfermarkt), Toby Alderweireld has signed a new contract (@SpursOfficial) and quite a few players have returned to form.

One man who has enjoyed life under Mourinho is Serge Aurier, who has nailed down the right-back slot of late with some impressive displays.

Indeed in his six appearances, since the ex-Chelsea boss came in, the Ivorian has scored once and provided two assists from right-back, whilst also helping them to a clean sheet against Burnley (Transfermarkt).

Many Spurs fans have been impressed with Aurier’s form under Mourinho, with some suggesting that he has been brilliant…
