Tottenham and Juventus are discussing swap deals for Serge Aurier and Danny Rose, according to TuttoMercatoWeb via @TranSPURS.
The Italian outlet claims the two clubs are holding talks to swap Aurier plus cash for Alex Sandro, and a switch for Mattia De Sciglio in place of Rose.
Jose Mourinho is looking to strengthen his defensive options and both players’ futures at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium are now in doubt. Coaching staff are looking through Serie A for suitable replacements and the manager has identified Sandro and Atalanta’s Timothy Castagne as ideal candidates. [via TuttoMercatoWeb]
Juventus are asking for £44m for the Brazilian international, although Daniel Levy is hoping he can sweeten the deal by adding the Ivorian as well. Sandro has made 22 appearances in the Italian top flight for Maurizio Sarri’s side this season, making 1.6 tackles per game and averaging 1.7 interceptions via WhoScored.
Meanwhile, the report also suggests Spurs are in discussions with Atalanta for Castagne. The Belgian international has played 14 games in Serie A this campaign, scoring once, supplying one assist, winning 1.4 tackles per match and taking one shot per game (WhoScored).

Alex Sandro: True. Stemming from years of Mourinho interest. Top class natural LB. Loves defending + assisting. ✅
Castagne: Fake news ✖️
De Sciglio: We are definitely having a look at him 👀💯

There’s a higher chance of Mansfield playing at the Camp Nou than Rose anywhere outside of England
