Tottenham Hotspur: Fans ecstatic after reports of a clear-out in January window

Tottenham Hotspur fans were feeling ecstatic after reports Mauricio Pochettino could undertake a clear-out of players in January next year.

According to The Times, the Argentine is looking to get rid of underperforming players in the winter window. It is thought that Eric Dier, Victor Wanyama, Christian Eriksen, Serge Aurier and Danny Rose are on the list of players who could leave the club.

Spurs have endured a terrible start to their season, winning just three of their 11 games in all competitions (via WhoScored).

They endured one of the worst results in their history last week, going down 7-2 to German champions Bayern Munich.

Despite the results, the 47-year-old has suggested that he has the full support of chairman Daniel Levy (via Mirror).

Fans were ecstatic following the reports that there could be a big clear-out of players in the upcoming January transfer window as they took to Twitter to react.
