Tottenham Hotspur fans were excited last night after Giovani Lo Celso finally returned to action for Spurs after two months out with a hip injury.

The 19-cap Argentina international sustained the injury whilst on international duty back in September, and only just made his return to action as a substitute in last night’s 5-0 win over Red Star Belgrade. Lo Celso came on as a substitute in the 79th minute for midfielder Dele Alli.
Prior to the game last night, Mauricio Pochettino spoke of Lo Celso’s return, claiming it was a massive step for him and saying the next step was to build his fitness (via The Express).
The 23-year-old had only made three substitute appearances before last night’s game with all of them coming in the Premier League (via Transfermarkt).
Lo Celso’s return to action seems to have excited the fanbase, who seemingly couldn’t wait to see their summer signing in action as they took to Twitter to react.
