Tottenham Hotspur fans are happy after the news concerning Daniel Levy and his stance on manager Mauricio Pochettino.
According to The Sun (relayed on Twitter by Ricky Sacks), the chairman is determined to keep a hold of the Argentine manager.
According to the British publication, Levy is prepared to stick by his man, who he handed an £8.5m-per-year contract to in May 2018 (via The Guardian).
Pochettino has been linked with the job at Real Madrid after he came out and said he could ‘some year’ manage the Spanish club (via The Sun).
Tuesday night proved to be one of the lows of his Spurs career so far as the club were knocked out of the Carabao Cup by League Two side Colchester United on penalties (via BBC).
Pochettino hasn’t enjoyed the best of starts to the season, winning just two of his eight games in all competitions (via WhoScored).
