Tottenham Hotspur fans are excited at the return of Giovani Lo Celso for the club’s Champions League fixture against Red Star Belgrade.
The Argentina international has been out since suffering a hip injury on international duty back in September, and according to Sky Sports, he is set to return to the matchday squad tonight.
The £45m-rated Lo Celso has initially struggled after joining Spurs back in August, making just three substitute appearances for the north London club (via Transfermarkt).
Spurs go into the game off the back of a 1-1 draw at home to bottom-of-the-table Watford on the weekend, with Dele Alli’s late equaliser saving the side’s blushes.
Ryan Sessegnon also returned to full training for the side, however, a return to the first team is thought to be a long way off for the young full-back.
Fans were excited about the return to the side for 23-year-old Lo Celso as they took to Twitter to react.
