Tottenham Hotspur: Fans fume at reports that Daniel Levy may not hand Jose Mourinho a big transfer budget

Lots of Tottenham Hotspur fans are fuming at reports that Daniel Levy may not hand Jose Mourinho a big transfer market after information from an Express article was relayed by Ricky Sacks on Twitter.

The article suggests that the chairman may not hand the Portuguese coach big money to spend, especially if the north London club do not qualify for the Champions League. Spurs are currently four points off fifth spot with nine games remaining in the Premier League (via BBC). They could be seven points off if Manchester City’s Champions League ban is lifted, as the top four would then be given the places as normal.

As per the report, Mourinho may turn to free transfers if his spending is restricted by Levy in the summer window. The club have been linked with Willian, who is out of contract in the summer and would be able to leave for free if that contract is not renewed, according to The Sun.

Nevertheless, loads of Spurs fans are fuming at the financial reports, with a couple of fans questioning whether links to the likes of 80 million euro-rated Erling Haaland (per TuttoMercato via the Sun) were true:
