After an incredible first half showing against West Ham, with two goals from Harry Kane and an effort from Son Heung-min gifting Spurs side a cracking lead in the first 45, one man who earned praise alongside that star duo ws midfield maestro Tanguy Ndombele.
Ndombele, who has been in good form recently, has earned plaudits from swathes of Lilywhites after another impressive display in the first period.
Indeed, the double pivot of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Ndombele in front of the back four was rarely troubled – with both men dominating possession and influencing the tempo for Spurs.
After Jose Mourinho’s u-turn over the Frenchman, it’s safe to say he will be impressed with the 23-year-old’s display – along with this plethora of supporters.
