Tottenham Hotspur: Fans hate the idea of Jürgen Klinsmann replacing Mauricio Pochettino

With Ole Gunnar Solskjaer under huge pressure at Manchester United, Mauricio Pochettino is being tipped to take over by AS (via the Daily Express). If he does decide to leave, it’s key Spurs find the right man to continue the project Pochettino started.

The Mail Online revealed former Spurs striker Jürgen Klinsmann wants to become their next manager, but fans weren’t too keen on the idea when Spurs news aggregator Daily Hotspur posted the news on Twitter. It seems they want someone much more experienced in securing silverware than the German boss, who has only ever won the Gold Cup. What’s that, you say? Exactly.

His only experience at club level in Europe was as manager of Bayern Munich in 2008 where he lasted less than a season. A stint at Toronto and three years as manager of the USA national team doesn’t seem to have impressed the Spurs faithful either and can anyone blame them?
