Tottenham Hotspur secured a narrow 2-1 victory against Norwich City in the Premier League on Wednesday evening (BBC Sport).
Jose Mourinho’s side were not at their best on the night but ultimately sealed all three points thanks to goals from Dele Alli and Son Heung-min either side of Teemu Pukki’s penalty. Indeed, there was actually another player though who most Spurs fans were impressed during in the match against the Canaries and that was Argentinian midfielder Giovani Lo Celso.
The 23-year-old joined the north London club on loan from Real Betis in the summer but was making only his fourth Premier League start of the season in this match (Transfermarkt).
However, he seemed to be the man pulling the strings and produced a very good display, Impressively, he completed five successful dribbles and played four key passes in the match, whilst also showing some defensive qualities by winning four tackles, making two clearances, one interception and blocking one shot (SofaScore).
It was a solid all-round performance from the ex-Paris Saint Germain player and many Spurs fans took to Twitter to heap praise on him after the game. Here is what some had to say…
