Some Tottenham Hotspur fans would like to get rid of Serge Aurier and Kyle Walker-Peters if it means bringing in Thomas Meunier and Max Aarons as replacements.
Various reports of interest in the latter two have been circulating on Twitter after Football.London journalist Alasdair Gold suggested that the north London club will look at both as potential right-back options in this summer’s transfer window.
Another article from L’Equipe (via The Spurs Web) has stated that the Lilywhites have intensified their negotiations with Meunier in recent days and are apparently in pole position to sign the Belgian who will become a free agent in the summer.
Comparing the four names that have been thrown about in their respective leagues this season, the Spurs full-backs actually beat the other two in some key stats. They both average more tackles and dribbles and Aurier averages the most interceptions and clearances, whilst Walker-Peters places the most passes at the highest success percentage, according to Whoscored.
Nevertheless, these THFC supporters would be open to getting rid of both if it means that Meunier and Aarons come in:
