Tottenham Hotspur fans were lauding Heung-Min Son after he was subbed off during their 5-0 win over Serbian side Red Star Belgrade.
Spurs romped to a 5-0 over their group B rivals with braces from Harry Kane and the South Korea international, and a goal in his 200th appearance from Erik Lamela.
His brace yesterday took the £72m-rated Son up to five goals and three assists in just 11 appearances for the Lilywhites this campaign (via Transfermarkt).
Son’s goals come just a few days after the South Korean was nominated for the Ballon d’Or as the attacker helped Spurs reach their first-ever Champions League final earlier in 2019.
The win over Red Star means Mauricio Pochettino’s side now climb up to second in the group B standings having recorded their first win in Europe’s premier competition this season.
Fans were lauding the attacker after his substitution as they took to Twitter to react.
