Tottenham Hotspur fans have been laying into midfielder Moussa Sissoko after the emergence of a statistic about his passing.

It has emerged the France international has played the most passes in the final third of any Spurs player so far this season with an accuracy of 93.75%. His accuracy places him fifth-place in the list of players in the top five leagues in Europe (Wyscout via football.london).
Despite Sissoko’s impressive passing statistics, he was forced to play at right-back during the loss to Brighton and Hove Albion after the red card suffered by Serge Aurier in the win over Southampton (via BBC).
The £22.5m-rated man was praised by former Spurs player Jermaine Jenas for his performance in the loss to the south coast club (via TBR).
Despite the midfielder’s passing statistics this season, fans tore into Sissoko after what has been a poor campaign for the club, taking to Twitter to reply.
