Several Tottenham Hotspur fans have expressed their love for the celebrations of Paulo Gazzaniga following one of their goals against Norwich City on Wednesday.
Spurs beat the Canaries 2-1, with Son Heung-min netting the winning goal with just 11 minutes left to play after Teemu Pukki had cancelled out Dele Alli’s opener (BBC Sport).
And after the winning goal had gone in, Gazzaniga was certainly lost in the moment and produced a brilliant celebration. He ran from his seat in the dugout, past manager Jose Mourinho and up the touchline with his arms in the air (via @DailyHotspur).
The Argentinian goalkeeper was back on the bench for the game due to regular number one Hugo Lloris’ return from injury. He had played 15 straight Premier League games prior to that (Transfermarkt), but appeared not to be too upset by Mourinho’s decision to drop him if the footage of his celebration is anything to go by.
Loads of Spurs fans absolutely loved seeing the 28-year-old showing plenty of passion after the goal, with plenty taking to social media to suggest as much. Here is what some had to say…
Love the man, gets dropped and still has the most passion, just think what people like rose would do
