Tottenham Hotspur: Fans love what ‘club legend’ Danny Rose has done

Lots of Tottenham Hotspur fans love what ‘club legend’ Danny Rose has done as it circulated around Twitter.

A post from the Daily Hotspur (also reported by the Daily Mail) stated that the 29-year old donated £19,000 to the North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust amidst the crisis that the likes of doctors and nurses are facing in trying to treat patients who have fallen severely ill from the pandemic outbreak, whilst not catching it themselves.

Rose’s donation to this hospital has not gone unnoticed by Spurs supporters as lots of them sent positive messages to the Englishman despite the fact that he is currently out on loan at Newcastle United.

Rose has only been able to make six appearances for the Magpies so far (via Transfermarkt) as the footballing season was drawn to a temporarily close to try and combat the pandemic.

The left-back has made 214 appearances in all competitions stretching over ten years for the Lilywhites, scoring ten goals and providing 29 assists, and has also gone on to be capped by the senior English national team 29 times, according to Transfermarkt.

His longevity and appearance record at the north London side has made him a ‘club legend’ in one fan’s eyes and these supporters showed their love on Twitter:
