Tottenham Hotspur fans seem to be questioning the club after reports emerged over right-back Kyle Walker-Peters.
According to Martin Lipton of The Sun, Spurs will be looking to loan out Walker-Peters in the January transfer window with Crystal Palace reportedly interested.
The right-back hasn’t enjoyed the best of seasons at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after starting the first three Premier League games of the season. He then suffered a minor hamstring injury and has only started one of the last eight games in all competitions (via Transfermarkt).
In his absence, Serge Aurier has taken up the right-back role for the club and has endured a horrible time. The Ivorian was sent off for two bookable offences in the first-half of the win over Southampton before forming part of the defence that was hammered 7-2 by Bayern Munich.
After reading the reports that the 22-year-old could be sold, fans took to Twitter to question the decision being made.
Here is a selection of tweets from the north London faithful:
My God that would be titanically stupid… KWP isn’t the long-term answer but he’s a warm body in a spot we just about got nobody at
