Tottenham Hotspur: Fans react angrily after Mourinho press conference

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted angrily to Jose Mourinho’s press conference shared on the club’s official Twitter page (via YouTube).

In his pre-match conference ahead of the club’s Premier League away trip to Burnley, Mourinho touched on a few subjects, including his plea to his players to score more goals following injuries to top goalscorers Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son. He also commented again on the Eric Dier situation where the player raced into the stands to confront a fan who was allegedly giving his brother a hard time after the north-London club’s FA Cup round-of sixteen defeat to Norwich City on penalties on Wednesday night.

Spurs fans are generally in a bad state at the moment having not won for four games since their 3-2 Premier League win away at Aston Villa last month (Transfermarkt). On top of the injuries to Kane and Son, Moussa Sissoko is also injured and has been utilised as a squad player under Jose when he has been fit. They were boosted by the return to training of Hugo Lloris in their injury update on the club website. These Spurs fans on Twitter were quick to jump on Mourinho in the post, with one fan even saying ‘unless it’s to say he’s leaving I don’t really care’. Other fans tweeted ‘ENIC out’, which refers to the English National Investment Company (via Companies House) part-owned by chairman Daniel Levy:

Spurs fans, are you happy with Jose Mourinho? What about Daniel Levy and ENIC? Is it just a downward spiral from here following recent results or can you see the club lifted again and if so, what will most likely see that happen? Let us know in the comments down below.
