Tottenham Hotspur: Fans react as Christian Eriksen plans to stay until the summer

Loads of Tottenham fans have been reacting to the latest update on Christian Eriksen, as journalist Nicolo Schira reveals the Denmark international plans to stay at the club through January and run down his contract.

According to Schira, Eriksen will not join Inter Milan this month, a move that has been heavily touted over the past few days.

Reports had claimed Eriksen would join the Serie A outfit for £20m, but it now appears as though he wants to stay in north London until the summer with the ultimate objective of becoming a free agent during the summer transfer window.

Of course, a good performance at Euro 2020 would allow him to take his pick from any potential suitors and also ask for larger wages, with teams not having to pay a transfer fee to sign him.

And while this is the best possible solution for the player, it leaves the club with absolutely nothing, which has caused some unhappiness amongst the fans.
