Tottenham Hotspur striker Troy Parrott is set to sign a new long-term contract with the club after his 18th birthday on 4th February, that is according to a report from the Evening Standard.
The 17-year-old’s current deal is set to expire at the end of the season, but it appears that he will now be committing his future to Spurs. It is also reported that the Republic of Ireland international will spend the rest of the campaign out on loan, with Queens Park Rangers, Charlton Athletic and Sheffield Wednesday all keen on signing him.
However, no move has yet been sanctioned as Tottenham look to sign a replacement for injured star Harry Kane before Parrott is allowed to go, so it may be that he doesn’t move until deadline day.
