Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele has returned to training following a groin injury, the club have confirmed (via @SpursOfficial).
The 22-year-old joined Spurs from Lyon in the summer for a club record fee of £52.8 million (BBC Sport), but has endured a stop-start first few months with the north London club due to injuries.
Indeed he has started just eight of their first 17 Premier League games this season and has missed recent fixtures against Wolves and Burnley due to his groin problem (Transfermarkt).
However, along with Michel Vorm he is now back in first team training and will hope play a part in the hectic upcoming festive schedule, which sees Spurs play four league matches in just 10 days (Transfermarkt).
