Manchester United are interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Harry Winks in the summer transfer window, that is according to a report from the Mirror.
It is suggested that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to reshape his squad in the off-season and that the 24-year-old is set to be a top target as he fits the profile of player that the Norwegian is looking for.
Jose Mourinho does not want to lose the England international, but with Paul Pogba potentially leaving Old Trafford in the summer (Mirror) it is reported that Ed Woodward may try and test Spurs’ resolve by offering some of that money for Winks.
The Tottenham academy graduate has become a key player for the north London outfit of late and has started in each of their last nine matches in all competitions (Transfermarkt), clearly an early favourite of Mourinho.
Loads of Spurs fans have been reacting after seeing that Manchester United would like to sign Winks, with the majority suggesting that there is no chance that the midfielder will leave the club in the summer whilst one said that Mourinho “loves” him and therefore will not let him move on.
