Tottenham Hotspur: Fans react to latest transfer news as Ozan Tufan linked with move

Tottenham Hotspur will send scouts to watch Fenerbahce midfielder Ozan Tufan in their Istanbul derby game against Galatasaray this weekend, that is according to a report from Fanatik.

The 24-year-old has been a regular for the Turkish outfit this season, starting in all 22 of their Super Lig fixtures to date. In that time, he has managed to score two goals and provide five assists, but he has actually managed to net one and assist four in his last nine (Transfermarkt).

Fanatik suggest that Jose Mourinho is a big fan of the 24-year-old who has already played 49 times for Turkey and he is keen to have his staff take a closer look at him.

If Spurs did try to sign them he wouldn’t be overly expensive either, with the player’s agent Utku Cenikli recently confirming that he has a €20 million (£16.8 million) release clause in his contract (Turkish Football).

However, it seems that most Tottenham supporters wouldn’t be too keen on signing the versatile operator, who according to Transfermarkt has played centre midfield, right midfield and even right-back this term. Indeed, many have taken to Twitter to suggest that they don’t feel he would be a worthwhile addition.

Here is what some had to say…
