As relayed on Twitter by Ricky Sacks, a report by NOS had earlier claimed that the shot-stopper would be reuniting with his former team-mates in north London on a deal that will run until the end of the 2019/20 season.
The 35-year-old was not handed a contract to renew his stay before his previous deal expired, however Lloris’ injury has meant Spurs have called upon their former deputy – although he is likely to remain in that position with Paulo Gazzaniga set to remain in between the sticks when available.
Vorm is clearly a capable back-up as he has the obvious experience, having played 102 times in the Premier League for Swansea City and Spurs, making 47 appearances across all competitions for the north London giants in the process.
Ahead of his confirmed return, a number of Tottenham fans had taken to Twitter to share their immediate reactions to the possibility of seeing the former Holland international back at the club, with many of them having mixed views on the deal.
Here are just some of their opinions…
After us conceding 10 goals in 2 games I guess he can’t do any worse.

One step forward, two step backwards.
A slightly good back up, but is Whiteman that bad?— G E O R G E (@gamaliel_gam) October 14, 2019
Makes sense. Hope he’s Gazzaniga’s cover tho!

Not the most reliable, but an obvious choice for now. Silver-lining thinking, I am very pleased that Gaza will get a run in the team now. He has impressed when he’s played so here’s his chance. Also looking forward to seeing HK lead the lads. Might be the spark we need
