Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reminiscing over former player Nacer Chadli after a tweet from the club’s official Twitter account.
The Spurs Twitter account tweeted a video of their last outing to tonight’s Carabao Cup opponents Colchester United back in 2016. The video showed the Belgian attacker scoring a brace as the Lilywhites won 4-1 in the FA Cup fourth round (via Twitter).
The 58-cap Belgium international was part of the seven players who were signed by the club back in the summer of 2013 as Gareth Bale made his then-world record move to Real Madrid (via Evening Standard).
The spell in north London lasted just three years as Chadli was shipped off to then fellow Premier League side West Bromwich Albion (via BBC).
However, now it seems some fans are missing the player at the club as they took to Twitter to remember him.
