Tottenham Hotspur fans are scathing after manager Mauricio Pochettino admitted that he could ‘one day’ manage Spanish giants Real Madrid.
The Argentine was speaking at the Best Fifa Football Awards with interviewer Edu Aguirre and said that he can see himself at the Santiago Bernabeu (via Sun).
The Spurs coach has endured a tough start to the season with the north London giants as pressure has grown on him. The Lilywhites have won just two of their seven games and have lost leads in three of their last four in all competition (via WhoScored).
Pochettino has been at the club for just over six years, overseeing a period of relative success as he helped the club reach their first-ever Champions League final last season (via BBC).
However, following his interview about possibly managing another club, Spurs fans are fuming with their coach as they took to Twitter to react.
