Tottenham Hotspur: Fans slam Arsenal as Champions League report emerges

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have slammed north London rivals Arsenal as a report from Martin Lipton (via Daily Hotspur) claims that the Gunners could achieve Champions League qualification ahead of them.

This is because UEFA have been urged to order associations to use coefficient scores to determine European qualification for next season as current circumstances mean that games cannot be played as of yet.

In terms of the English association, Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal and Manchester City all have a higher coefficient score than the Lilywhites at the moment, meaning that as four teams from England automatically qualify for the Champions League, Spurs may miss out.

However, if City’s ban from the elite European club competition is upheld, then THFC may find a way to sneak through.

Nevertheless, the fact that AFC would take a spot ahead of them based off this system would likely confuse and anger a lot of the Tottenham faithful, especially since Arsenal have been absent of Champions League football for the last three seasons and Spurs reached the final in 2018/19.

These supporters slammed their bitter rivals after hearing the news:
