Plenty of Tottenham Hotspur supporters were left disappointed with Giovani Lo Celso’s performance against Norwich City on Saturday.
The Argentine, 23, was handed only his second Premier League start of the season (Transfermarkt) at Carrow Road by Jose Mourinho, but he ultimately failed to make much of an impact on the game.

Indeed, he attempted just one dribble, played just one key pass and lost possession eight times whilst on the pitch, before being withdrawn after 74 minutes (SofaScore).
Lo Celso is currently on loan at Spurs from Spanish outfit Real Betis and the Londoners are able to make it a permanent transfer when the window re-opens in January.
However, performances like this one will not encourage the club to part with their cash, so he will need to significantly improve if he gets another chance.
He certainly didn’t impress most Tottenham supporters at Carrow Road, many of whom took to Twitter afterwards to slam his display, with one fan dubbing him as a “poor man’s [Erik] Lamela”.
