Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have called for the north London club to make an offer for LOSC Lille sporting director Luis Campos instead of Olympique Lyonnais’ head of recruitment Florian Maurice after the latter was the subject of an offer made by Spurs, according to L’Equipe (via Daily Hotspur).
Campos has been labelled a ‘transfer genius’ after reportedly helping launch the careers of the likes of Bernardo Silva, Anthony Martial, Fabinho, Nicolas Pepe and Thomas Lemar (via Bleacher Report). All of these players apart from Thomas Lemar are playing at some of the Premier League’s top clubs and the Frenchman himself is currently playing for Atletico Madrid, so has made it to one of Europe’s biggest clubs.
These players all made their names in French football for the likes of AS Monaco and LOSC Lille and Campos was reportedly the man who found them.

However, it is not Campos that Spurs have made an offer for, as per the report. Still, even Jose Mourinho had reportedly asked Tottenham to appoint Campos, according to ESPN, and it seems that these fans would much rather take him instead:
