Lille right-back Zeki Celik has admitted that he would like to play in England, just days after it emerged that Tottenham Hotspur were linked with a move for the 22-year-old.
Indeed, Turkish news outlet DHA claimed that Spurs were interested in the defender recently following his impressive performances in France.

Celik has been at Lille since joining from Istanbulspor in 2018 and this season he has been in fine form, helping his team to six clean sheets and providing three assists so far (Transfermarkt).
It seems as though the player himself is keen on a move to the Premier League after he told TRT Spor that he is learning the English language.
A right-back is likely to be on Spurs wish list in the coming transfer windows given that they never replaced Kieran Trippier, with only Serge Aurier and young Kyle Walker-Peters at the club who play that position.
Several Spurs fans have suggested that Celik would be a good addition to the squad, with some saying that he is better than Aurier, their current first choice.
Here is what some said on Twitter…
hes probably better than all the right backs in our club right now so why not

Would rather Pereira but would get him as a backup to Pereira. Would then have to ship off KWP if we buy two RB’s and KWP is v promising
