Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for Lyon winger Memphis Depay following reports in Italy.
Calciomercato claim that the Dutchman’s impressive performances in Ligue 1 have alerted the attention of Spurs as well as Premier League leaders Liverpool.

The 25-year-old has already scored seven goals in 11 appearances in France this season whilst also providing one assist (Transfermarkt).
He has, of course, spent time in the Premier League earlier in his career with Manchester United. And according to The Sun, his former club do have a buy-back clause on the forward, although they are yet to show any interest in him.
Things didn’t really go according to plan for him at United where he managed to score just seven goals in 53 appearances (Transfermarkt).
However, he has rebuilt his career at Lyon with 50 goals and 42 assists in 131 appearances (Transfermarkt).
After seeing that they have been linked with the winger, several Tottenham fans have said that they would love the club to sign him up.
