Tottenham Hotspur: Many fans have been impressed by Erik Lamela

Erik Lamela was key for Tottenham Hotspur as they hit five past Red Star Belgrade without reply on Tuesday night.

The 27-year-old assisted the first goal of the game with a corner kick, the second with a brilliant ball to the back post and then scored the fourth with a composed finish inside the box, as shown in the highlights video on the BT Sport YouTube channel.

He also completed 92% of the passes he attempted during the game, while making 3 key passes, 1 dribble, 2 tackles and 1 clearance, as per WhoScored.

Many Spurs fans were impressed by his performance, with one saying it was the best he has had in a Spurs shirt, while another fan claimed he has been the club’s best player this season.

There has already been appreciation shown for the passion the Argentinian displays towards the club, but the latest recognition he has received is solely based on what he has done on the pitch.
